Delete Account
You can request deletion of your Ettihad account in the app or by email. Deletion anonymizes your personal profile while preserving anonymized financial ledger records required for community accounting.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Settings in the Ettihad app.
- Tap Delete account and confirm the request.
- If you are the only manager of a community, you must transfer management to another member before deletion can be completed.
- After deletion is completed, your personal identifiers are removed or anonymized in our systems.
Request deletion on the web
If you cannot access the app, email support@ettihad.org from your account email address or provide enough information for us to verify account ownership. Use the subject line "Delete account request" and include your phone number and the communities you belong to.
What is deleted or disconnected
- Your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo are scrubbed from your account profile.
- Account-linked sign-in identifiers and push-notification tokens are removed or disconnected from the deleted account.
- Direct personal links between your identity and retained accounting records are removed.
What is retained
- Anonymized financial ledger records such as dues, payments, credits, and settlements remain in community accounting records.
- These retained records stay without a link to your deleted identity so communities can preserve accounting integrity and meet legal or audit requirements.
