Payment link and I paid

App version 1.4.0

  • Share payment link

    Residential buildings

Share a link and 6-digit code for a vacant unit (no owner or tenant in the app); the payer needs no account. It lasts 48 hours; 3 wrong codes end it.

  • I paid

    Residential buildings

Say how you paid, all or part; the manager sees "Says paid · not verified". Nothing is marked paid until the manager confirms; they can also choose "Not received" or, when allowed, "Already recorded".

  • Invite the payer

    Residential buildings

The payment page also invites the payer to join the app. They choose Owner or Tenant, and you approve every join request.

  • Part payments

    Residential buildings

A part-paid due shows what is left of the total.

  • Remind

    Residential buildings

Remind is hidden when you're the unit's only resident in the app.

Compounds and payment reminders

App version 1.3.9

  • Set up a whole compound

    Residential buildings

Add many buildings in one go, with real unit numbers such as R1-A1. Changed your mind? Undo the setup on the same phone within 24 hours; units that already have residents or dues stay.

  • Fary sets up the compound

    Residential buildings

A manager can tell Fary in text chat how the compound is laid out, in one message, and confirm (not in demo communities). Undo works only for setups made in the app. For a bigger compound, write to us from Settings › Help & about › Send feedback and the Ettihad team sets it up.

  • Units grouped by building

    Residential buildings

If your units have buildings, My Community lists them, each with its number of units and how many are occupied.

  • Payment reminders

    Residential buildings

Remind one due, one unit, or everyone who hasn't paid an expense. Each resident on the app gets one notification for their unpaid dues and sees when they were reminded.

  • How each payment was made

    Residential buildings

"Mark as paid" now asks how the money came in. The unit statement shows the recorded method of each payment — cash, bank transfer, InstaPay and more — with its note; the building statement shows the method too.

  • Owner or tenant

    Residential buildings

A request to join now asks whether you're the owner or a tenant, so a tenant is no longer added as the unit's owner.

  • Bigger buildings

    Residential buildings

An expense's payment link now works for up to 200 units, and its statement for the whole building — images or an Excel file — for up to 160 units.

October 2026

App version 1.3.8

  • Building funds

    Residential buildings

Record the money the building holds — a bank account or a reserve — and pay all or part of an expense from it; residents are billed only for the rest. Every change to a fund is kept in its history.

  • Unit statement

    Residential buildings

One unit's account for any period up to 2 years: what it was billed, what it paid and what was forgiven, with the opening and closing balance. Share it as images or an Excel file.

  • Building statement

    Residential buildings

One Excel file for the whole building for the period you choose, in Arabic or English. You get a notification when it's ready, and it stays available for 3 days.

  • A tile on the manager's dashboard: the money collected minus what was spent. Existing social and family groups see it too.

  • Monthly bills — the guard, cleaning, electricity — come back by themselves: a fixed amount, or a reminder to type this month's amount.

  • A tile and a screen in the app where residents see what the building spent.

  • "Mark as paid" can take the money from the resident's credit. In residential buildings, a unit's open dues can be paid from its credit, oldest first. Credit never goes below zero.

  • Remove a unit, keep its history

    Residential buildings

A unit with payments can be removed and its history stays readable; its unpaid share is split over the other units or covered by the building.

  • Undo "already paid"

    Residential buildings

Reopen a due that was marked "already paid" by mistake, without deleting the expense.

  • Send feedback

Settings › Help & about › Send feedback, or ask Fary in text chat: your message goes to the Ettihad team.

  • Invite without a phone number

When you invite a resident by hand, a name is enough — the phone number is optional.

  • Android 9 and newer

The app now runs on Android 9 and newer.
